Candido Brown was raised on the kind of belief that doesn’t depend on circumstances — the belief that what a child learns and who teaches them shapes everything. That belief became a calling, and the calling became a career.

He attended Baltimore City College High School, where his commitment to scholarship and leadership came into sharp focus. He went on to Johns Hopkins University, then to the Harvard Graduate School of Education, sharpening a worldview built around teacher excellence, instructional rigor, and school cultures worthy of every student.

Today, as Founder & CEO of BetterEd Solutions, Candido coaches school founders, CEOs, principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, and teachers across the United States — and builds the next generation of education ventures through edXponential, The Life Xschool, The Raise Teacher Pay Project, EdVentures, and a growing portfolio of bold education companies.

His thesis is simple and unwavering: build better systems, build better leaders, build better teachers — and the outcomes will follow.
